It's time to get on board for our 2010 Spring Musical!

The Worship Arts Ministries at Enola Emmanuel United Methodist Church invite all children (age 3 and older) and youth of our community to join us for our spring musical.

“All Aboard!” is the story of a man and his courageous faith

.

… a man who withstood ridicule in order to stand up for what he believed

.

… a man who instilled his morals in the lives of his family

.

… a man named Noah.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Children and youth can participate in one of several levels:

Intense –  For youth in grades 9 – 12, these are the more difficult roles with more memorization.

Advanced –  For those in grades 4 – 8, these roles are part of the main drama.

Intermediate For children of any age who desire a small speaking role.

Basic –  For anyone age 3 and up (including youth) who want to be part of the cast, but do not want a speaking role.

Backstage –  For any child or youth who only want to work behind the scenes.

PERFORMANCE DATES

The musical is scheduled to be performed on Saturday, April 17th and Sunday, April 18th.  Though the exact times have not yet been set, we are planning early evening performances to accommodate the various sports schedules that many of your children are involved in.  A dress rehearsal will be held Friday evening, April 16th.

REHEARSALS

CD’s of the music will be given to each participant and they will be expected to learn the songs (as much as possible) on their own.  Rehearsals will begin in February and will be held on Sundays.  At this point, we are looking to late afternoon rehearsals, but that may change depending upon participant schedules.  The frequency of rehearsals will depend upon the level of involvement.  Those with an “intense” role will rehearse most weeks; “advanced” roles will rehearse two to three times a month; “intermediate” roles will rehearse once or twice a month; and those participating in a “basic” manner will rehearse once in February, twice in March, and three times (including the dress rehearsal) in April.
