Sunday School Classes at Emmanuel

Teach ...

Nurture ...

Disciple ...

Emmanuel is committed to nurturing the personal spiritual growth of our congregation members and friends.  The Word of the Lord is preached faithfully each week during our morning worship services.  Our worship together comes to a close as we reflect upon the Word and respond by going forth in the world as disciples.

In addition to the weekly worship services, Bible Study groups meet weekly both during the day and evening hours for a more in-depth look and  better understanding of the Holy Scriptures.

Short-term elective classes are held twice a year.  Past courses have included:  The Letters of Paul, United Methodism 101, A Protestant's Guide to the Catholic Church, Reach Out and Touch Someone: Hospitality in the Church, and What Divides Us/What Unites Us: A Comparison of World Religions.

The Scriptures are also studied through the Sunday School program.  A wide variety of exciting, interactive classes are available for people of all ages - toddler through adult.
