Ashley Murphy/Secretary

We are a local congregation with a proud past and an exciting future. With God's help, our mission is to reach and receive people as they are; to develop, nurture an​d strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ so they may grow spiritually and live life more abundantly. We are here to welcome, support and show genuine love and concern for all. 

Ashley was born on a farm in a small town outside Chicago, Illinois. She later moved to Pennsylvania when she was about 8 years old.   She previously worked as the Office Manager, Bookkeeper, and Accountant for a small company in Harrisburg and worked closely with the White House and the United States Embassy's.

   Ashley decided to take a step back from the corporate world to spend more time with her beautiful family of five and two crazy dogs!
Ashley loves to be outside, camping, hiking, and anything that the entire family is involved in. Her 3 kids Lauren 10, Ethan 12, Reesa 14 and her fiancé Seth keep her on her toes.

Mindi Gochnaur / Pastor

Pastor Mindi is a 2011 graduate  of Messiah College, with a B.A. in Christian Ministries with a concentration in Youth Ministry. She is also a 2014 graduate of Wesley Theological Seminary, obtaining an MDiv. In May 2017, Pastor Mindi was ordained as an Elder by the Susquehanna Conference of the United Methodist Church. 

Emmanuel United Methodist Church

Jen has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood education and years of experience in children, youth, and family ministries. Her family lives in Dauphin, PA. My husband is Alex and we have two children Annabelle (7) and Oliver (3). We also have a very loved furbaby, named Princess Marvel.
We are not the best at resting during this time in our lives, we love to be outside riding scooters, bikes, swimming and hanging out together. If you ever have any questions and would like to reach out I would be happy to talk with you.

Elizabeth Berkheimer/ Youth Director

Elizabeth grew up on a farm in Enola before she attended Mid-Atlantic Christian University in North Carolina where she received 2 bachelors degrees. One in Youth Ministry and one in Biblical Exposition. After graduation she moved back to PA to be with her family and she adopted her sweet puppy, Willa. Elizabeth loves to paint, calligraphy, bake, and diy. She joined Emmanuel as the Youth Director in October of 2022.
